Welcome to Quizzie's Hall of Fame!

LondonTrivia was created 2 years ago out of a dream. We wished for a virtual Shangri La, a magic place like no other, where people from all over the world, of all religion and beliefs, colours and nationalities, could come together for a few moments of relaxation, safe in the knowledge that they're guaranteed respect and consideration.
Today, the dream is still an unreachable illusion, there are not enough players and we're far from being perfect, but there is one thing that becomes clearer with each passing month.

London Trivia is developing into the professional, powerful trivia channel we've always hoped for.

Points are harder and harder to get, players are faster and faster, keyboards crush with fury and fast records snap to each other in a frenzy we can only admire.

Reaching top places on London Trivia is not an easy target anymore.
The players who manage to do so fully deserve our respect and admiration. This becomes more and more true with the passing of time and the increase in the numbers of professional players.
To be one of the best requires a number of important qualities: sharp memory, solid knowledge, fast reaction and good control of the keyboards.

Of course there will always be the 'lag problem'. It is a very important factor and many of you will forever be at a clear disadvantage.
Quizzie runs from a Linux server located in the UK - Midlands.
Players closer to the UK are standing a much better chance of winning. We all know how deadly a split second can be, and although Quizzie should not be taken too seriously, nobody really likes to be cheated by an unfair lag.

A special mention should be awarded to players who type from faraway places like the USA, the Philippines and especially New Zealand or Australia. New Zealanders and Australians literally come from the other side of the world and have to fight a constantly nagging lag of 4 - 5 seconds.
For a channel like our London Trivia, where speed is a factor of paramount importance, this is a deadly situation. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help, except of course, to congratulate them for their extraordinary results and thank them for their loyality.

~ Rules of Conduct ~

- be nice, be polite, treat everybody else with respect

- have a strong desire to learn - knowledge is power and it will make you a better person

- help the channel - take care of London, it is your home as much as it is ours

- no insults, no sarcasm, no hurtful vulgarities are ever allowed - this is the most important rule and the only one that can actually get you expelled. There is nothing lamer than shouting insults over the internet. It is not cool, it is not funny and it will degrade you. Please remember, there are no exceptions!

- be fair, do not cheat other players or even the robot - there are certain ways to do so, but in the end we always find out. A few extra points are not worth losing Quizzie

Please remember: Quizzie was meant to be fun, and although can be very addictive, do not take her too seriously!
After all, she's only a game...
